E- Learning and Teaching during COVID-19

In times of COVID-19, teachers find creative ways to engage ...

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the normal lifestyle of people across the globe. This pandemic has affected educational system worldwide, leading to near total closures of schools, Universities, and colleges. Some 1.5 billion students, close to 90% of all primary, secondary and tertiary learners in the world, are no longer able to physically go to school. Many educational institutes are turning towards technology.

During this difficult period of COVID-19, E- learning has been playing a great role. With E- learning education will become more practical. Audio visual aids are the basic features of E-Learning which makes learning more interesting and effective for the learners as well as educators. So, E- learning is the only way in this pandemic through which people are able to learn whether it is schools, colleges, and Universities. Education system has completely changed for the short-term. And Traditional educational teaching has been changed to technology based online mode. Educational Institutes are adopting different apps to give online classes to learners such as Microsoft team app, Google meet app, Zoom app and Web Ex.

As we all know In India, E-learning has the new face for some educators who never used this technology before. But still they are providing online classes to the learners. They are busy working from home and preparing effective study material for their learners and available at all times of the day in order to take their queries. So, educators are working harder than ever before.

Research has shown that the world is completely dependent on E- learning and maximum learners are in the favour of studying through online mode of conducting classes during this pandemic.
