ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਦਾ ਸਥਾਨ

ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਂ ਕੌਮ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਮ ਰੋਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ । ਸਾਫ਼-ਸੁਥਰੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਬੁਨਿਆਦ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਹੀ ਹੈ । ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿਚ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਹਨ , ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਰੀੜ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਹੱਡੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ । ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਤੋਂ ਗਿਆਨ ਰੂਪੀ ਚਾਨਣ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਰੂਪੀ ਪੱਥ 'ਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧਦਾ ਹੈ। 
ਜੇਕਰ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਵਾਚਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਤੱਥ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਦਾ ਰੁਤਬਾ ਬੜਾ ਸਨਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵਰਗ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।   ਇਸ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨਹੀਣਤਾ ਹੈ।  ਆਖਿਆ ਵੀ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ :
   ਗਿਆਨ ਕਾ ਬਧਾ ਮਨਿ ਰਹੇ ।।
ਗੁਰੂ ਬਿਨ ਗਿਆਨ ਨਾ ਹੋਇ ।।
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਤ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਭੋਜਨ, ਪਾਣੀ ਤੇ ਹਵਾ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਚਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ। ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਅਗਿਆਨੀ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ ਤੇ ਅਗਿਆਨੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਸਮਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਭਾਵ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ:
ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦੋਨੋਂ ਖੜੇ, ਕਿਸ ਕੇ ਲਾਗੋ ਪਾਏਂ।
ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਆਪਣੇ, ਜਿਨ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦੀਆ ਮਿਲਾਏ।
ਹਰ ਇਕ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੋ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਰੇਕ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਪਾਅ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।  ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੂਜੇ  ਮਾਂ -ਬਾਪ ਹਨ।
ਮੇਰੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਰੁਤਬਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਈਆਂ ਹੀਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਕੋਹੇਨੂਰ ਦਾ ਹੈ।

Beat Plastic Pollution

This was the theme of  World Environment Day and India was the host country. Plastic pollution is 'the massive accumulation of plastic products that have an adverse effect on each and every component of the environment. From trees to human beings, wild animals to small insects – all are the components of this environment. The careless and frivolous usage of plastic affects our life somewhere.

Plastic is really cheap and durable and these are the two factors that make it one of the most used material. The way plastic has made a place in every sphere of our living, it is really hard to think of a plastic-less life. From grocery to wedding arrangements – you would see a huge usage of plastic in various forms. As per a report shared by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), our India is one the biggest plastic polluters in the world. At least 40% plastic consumption of Indian population ends up either in landfills or water bodies. Thus, given the current statistics of plastic pollution, we have to wake up now and take sustainable actions before its too late!

SUCCESSFUL- This is a tag that every person wants to put with their names. But getting this tag is not that easy.
It has been man’s greatest stimulus. It is very important for all. Success has great effect on life. It brings pleasure and pride. It gives a sense of fulfillment. It means all around development. Everybody aspires to be successful in life. But success comes to those who have a proper strategy, planning, vision and stamina. A proper and timely application of all these things is bound to bear fruit. One cannot be successful without cultivating certain basic things in life. It is very difficult to set out a journey without knowing one’s goals and destinations. Clarity of the objective is a must to succeed in life. A focused approach with proper planning is certain to bring success. Indecision and insincerity are big hindrance on the path to success.

So be focused, plan everything and execute with enthusiasm and positive approach. Trust me, you will surely feel the essence of sucess and get the tag of successful as well.
