The way we fall sick physically, we can also fall sick mentally. Mental illness is the instability of one’s health, which includes changes in emotion, thinking and behaviour. Mental illness can be caused due to stress or reaction to a certain incident. It could also arise from genetic factors, biochemical imbalances, child abuse or trauma, social disadvantage, poor physical health condition etc. Mental illness is curable. You can seek help from the experts in this particular area or you can overcome this illness with positive thinking and change in your lifestyle.
Regular fitness exercises like morning walk, yoga, and meditation have proved to be great medicine for curing mental health. Besides this, it is imperative to have a good diet and enough sleep. You can prevent mental illness by taking care of yourself like calming your mind by listening to soft music, being more social, setting realistic goals for yourself and taking care of your body.
