Importance of Environment

All living things that live on this earth comes under the environment. Whether they live on land or water they are part of the the environment. The environment also includes air, water, sunlight, plants, animals, etc.

Moreover, the earth is considered the only planet in the universe that supports life. The environment can be understood as a blanket that keeps life on the planet sage and sound.

We truly cannot understand the real worth of the environment. But we can estimate some of its importance that can help us understand its importance. It plays a vital role in keeping living things healthy in the environment.

Likewise, it maintains the ecological balance that will keep check of life on earth. It provides food, shelter, air, and fulfills all the human needs whether big or small.

Moreover, the entire life support of humans depends wholly on the environmental factors. In addition, it also helps in maintaining various life cycles on earth.

Most importantly, our environment is the source of natural beauty and is necessary for maintaining physical and mental health.

The environment gives us countless benefits that we can’t repay our entire life. As they are connected with the forest, trees, animals, water, and air. The forest and trees filter the air and absorb harmful gases. Plants purify water, reduce the chances of flood maintain natural balance and many others.

Moreover, the environment keeps a close check on the environment and its functioning, It regulates the vital systems that are essential for the ecosystem. Besides, it maintains the culture and quality of life on earth.

The environment regulates various natural cycles that happen daily. These cycles help in maintaining the natural balance between living things and the environment. Disturbance of these things can ultimately affect the life cycle of humans and other living beings.

The environment has helped us and other living beings to flourish and grow from thousands of years. The environment provides us fertile land, water, air, livestock and many essential things for survival.

Human activities are the major cause of environmental degradation because most of the activities humans do harm the environment in some way. The activities of humans that causes environmental degradation is pollution, defective environmental policies, chemicals, greenhouse gases, global warming, ozone depletion, etc.

All these affect the environment badly. Besides, these the overuse of natural resources will create a situation in the future there will be no resources for consumption. And the most basic necessity of living air will get so polluted that humans have to use bottled oxygen for breathing.

Above all, increasing human activity is exerting more pressure on the surface of the earth which is causing many disasters in an unnatural form. Also, we are using the natural resources at a pace that within a few years they will vanish from the earth.

To conclude, we can say that it is the environment that is keeping us alive. Without the blanket of environment, we won’t be able to survive.

Moreover, the environment’s contribution to life cannot be repaid. Besides, still what the environment has done for us, in return we only have damaged and degraded it.

🙏🏻ਬਾਬਾ ਨਾਨਕ 🙏🏻

ਜਦ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨੇਰ ਸੀ,

ਅਗਿਆਨਤਾ ਚਾਰ ਚੁਫੇਰ ਸੀ,

ਨਾ ਮਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਸਚਿਆਰ ਸੀ,

 ਲਬ, ਲੋਭ, ਮੋਹ, ਹੰਕਾਰ ਸੀ ।

ਕਲਯੁੱਗ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਰਾ ਸੀ,

ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਗਹਿਰਾ ਸੀ,

 ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਸੀ ,

ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਮਾੜੇ ਕਰਮ ਸੀ ।

ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅੰਤ ਸੀ,

ਪਰ ਰੱਬ ਵੀ ਬੜਾ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਸੀ ,

ਉਸ ਕਲਯੁੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੌਤਕ ਰਚਾਇਆ ਸੀ, 

ਬਾਬੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੂੰ ਘਲਾਇਆ ਸੀ।

ਮਾਤਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਗ ਲਾ ਕੇ ,

ਪਿਤਾ ਕਾਲੁੁੂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਵਰਗ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਸੀ,

ਭੇਦ ਭਾਵ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਕੇ,

ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਕਹਾਇਆ ਸੀ।

ਦੁਨੀਆਂ  ਦੇ ਉਧਾਰ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ,

 ਮੋਹ ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੀਤਾ , 

ਵੇਈਂ ਨਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ,

 ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਦਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ।

ਬਾਬੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਨੇ, 

ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ, 

ਨਿੱਕੀ ਉਮਰ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਹੋਣ ਤਕ ,

ਪਾਂਧੇ ਤੋਂ ਕੌਡੇ ਰਾਕਸ਼ ਤਾਈ ਤਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ।

ਬਾਬੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੇ ਆ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ, 

ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਦਾ ਉਪਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, 

ਜਬਰ ਜ਼ੁਲਮਾਂ ਭਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ,

ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਉਧਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਨਾਨਕ ਬਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੁਰਮਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ,

ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਸਰੁੂਪ ਦਾ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, 

ਕਣ- ਕਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਸਦਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ, 

ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ ।

ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ,  

ਜੋ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾਇਆ ਹੈ, 

ਹਰ ਜੀਵ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ, 

ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਾਲ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ।

ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ, 

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਉਠਾਈ, 

ਕੋਹੜ ਬਣ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹਰ ਬੁਰਾਈ,

ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਦੂਰ ਭਜਾਈ ।

ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਾਂ, 

ਇੱਕ ਛਿਨ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ, 

ਟੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਬਿਖਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ, 

ਸੱਚੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ। 

 ਵਧ ਰਹੀ ਮਰਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਨੇ, 

ਔਰਤ ਜਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਸੀ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ,  

ਕਰ ਜੁਲਮ ਵਿਚਾਰੀ ਨਿਹਥੀ ਤੇ,

ਪੇੈਰਾ ਹੇਠ ਸੀ ਦਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ ।

ਕਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕੀਤਾ, ਕਈ ਸਤੀ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਈਆਂ,  

ਕਈ ਇੱਜ਼ਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਣ ਗੁਆ ਕੇ, 

ਜਿਊਂਦੇ ਜੀਅ ਸੀ ਮਰ ਗਈਆਂ ।

ਦੇਖ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਦਸ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ, 

ਸਤਿਗੁਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਉਠਾਈ, 

ਨਾਂ ਨਿਮਾਣੀ ਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਕਰੋ, 

ਇਸ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਖੋਂ ਇਹ ਧਰਤ ਜਾਈ ।

ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨੇ,

 ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਵਰਗ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ, ਕਿਰਤ ਕਰਨੀ,

 'ਵੰਡ ਕੇ ਛਕਣ' ਦਾ ਉਪਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ।

ਕਲਜੁੱਗ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੜਦੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ, ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਉਧਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, 

ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਗਾਨ ਦਾ,

 ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ।

The modern age is the Sputnik age. Everything has to be done fast,Precisely and efficiently. Information technology has made rapid strides. Computers and websites have brought deluge of information. No wonder the generation-Y is quite conscious of what is the most important thing in life.The modern youth is highly aware of the qualities essential to attain success. Knowledge is regarded as the most important thing in life. There is no denying that Knowledge leads to power as it helps us to achieve and excellence of mind. Knowledge facilitates the creation of critical, creative and rational outlook and help us in seeking happiness. Love is another very important virtue which enables us to form healthy Human relationships and win the hearts of people. In modern days, money has also acquired important because it enables us to lead a tension free, peaceful and comfortable life. Secondly money enables us to reduce worry and Anxiety which the poor usually feel in their quest for livelihood. 

However, merely possessing these qualities or virtue is not enough. One must be aware of the most important factors essential for ensuring success. An ambitious young person should realise the importance of hard work. Genuine talent, intelligence and integrity are also needed to bring success. Relying solely on lady luck is regarded as a sign of orthodoxy.Remember, Fortune favours the brave.

Luck smiles only on those who think positively and execute their plans earnestly.

TRUE HAPPINESS IS NOT MONEY

If you ask a person what he wants out of life, surely his answer will be happiness. And what will make him happy? This can be the hardest question to answer because a person a person who seeks happiness is never able to find it, as happiness is a by product and not a goal. As a result, most of the people are confused about what they really want.

                  With the changes in society, our goals, desires and wants also undergo change. Some people say, all that needs to make them happy is money, a lot of money. But honestly money is not everything. Most of us have read about the Greek king Midas. He had been granted a wish that that entire he would touch would turn into gold. But when he touched his daughter, even she turned into gold. King Midas cursed himself for having been so stupid.

                   Some studies have shown that people who have high income are happier than those who 

Have low income.

                    Now the question arises which of the views is correct. Actually both are correct. Most of the times money can buy happiness, but only up to a certain point. if a person has no money, he feels miserable and when he has ample money to fulfill his basic needs ,he feels happy.

                     But when a person has extra money i.e. money left over after he has been provided for the basic necessities, his happiness tends to decrease gradually.

No doubt, money is one of the most powerful symbols of status in our society; it is a commodity, a means and not an end in itself. If one understands this distinction, one can easily determine the pursuit to happiness, which doesn’t always have to be in acquiring great wealth.

Everyone has lots of dreams which they want to fulfill. But only few people's dreams turn into reality.

A great way to do this is to do one thing, however small, every day. This will allow you to make regular progress towards your goal.

Why is this important? As you strive to bring your dream to life, you’ll likely discover that life is the biggest obstacle. Something is always getting in the way of us changing our lives. 

What could you do each day? You might write in your journal, take one step forward on your business plan, or make one call to a prospect.

These may seem like small things but doing something every day takes you just a little closer, and progress is a huge motivator in tough times.

Women Empowerment is the process that creates power in women to live a happy and respectable life in a society. Women are empowered when they are able to access opportunities in a variety of fields such as in education, profession, lifestyle, etc., without any limitations and restrictions. It includes raising their status through education, awareness, literacy and training. It also includes the authority to take decisions. When a woman makes a crucial decision, she feels empowered.

Women’s empowerment is the most crucial point for the overall development of a country. Suppose, in a family, there is one earning person, while in another family, both men and women are earning, then who will have a better lifestyle. The answer is simple, the family where both men and women are earning money. Thus, the country where men and women work together develops at a faster rate.

ਧਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਇਨਸਾਨੀਅਤ

ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ । ਧਰਮ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਜਾਂ ਮੁੱਢਲਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅੰਦਰ ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਧੀਆ ਸਮਾਜ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ । ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਤ੍ਰਾਸਦੀ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਧਰਮੀ ਤਾਂ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਧਰਮੀ ਬਨਣ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗਾ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਬਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਹਾ ਦੂਰ ਹੈ । ਜੇਕਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਨਸਾਨੀਅਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡਾ ਧਰਮੀ ਬਨਣਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਧਰਮ ਵੀ ਅਸਲ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ । ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਕੱਟੜਤਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਨਸਾਨੀਅਤ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਫ਼ੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕਰਮ ਕਾਂਡ ਤੱਕ ਹੀ ਸੀਮਿਤ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਹਾਂ । ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਦੰਗੇ ਫ਼ਸਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ । ਇੱਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਝਗੜੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ । ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਧਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਵਧੀਆ ਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਧਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਾੜਾ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ । ਇੱਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮੀ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਆਪਣਾ ਕੰਮ ਸਹੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਕੇ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੀ ਉੱਲੂ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ । ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਅਸਲ ਮਕਸਦ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਕੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਵਿਖਾਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੱਕ ਹੀ ਸੀਮਿਤ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ । ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕਰਮ ਕਾਂਡ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਰੋਜ਼ੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਚਲਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ । ਸੋ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਧਰਮੀ ਬਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਬਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਧੀਆ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਕਰ ਸਕੀਏ ।

ਕਿਤਾਬ

ਪਰੀ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੋਖੇ ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੀਤ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੈਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਅਮੀਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਵੰਨ- ਸੁਵੰਨਤਾ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ , ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੀ ਚੰਗਿਆਈ ਤੇ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਵਿਚਲੀ ਦਲੇਰੀ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਪੜਦਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਉਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਹਾਵਣੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ। ਹੌਲੀ - ਹੌਲੀ ਮੈਂ ਠਰੰਮੇ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਗਿਆ , ਮੇਰਾ ਆਤਮ - ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ਼ ਵਿਕਸਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਗਿਆ, ਮੇਰਾ ਕੰਮ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਠੋਕਰਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇਣਾ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਘਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਹਰ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਪੌੜੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਡੰਡਾ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਸ਼ੂਪੁਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਵੱਲ ਲਿਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ , ਚੰਗੇਰੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸਮਝ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਜੀਵਨ ਲਈ ਪਿਆਸ ਵੱਲ ਲਿਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।

           ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨਵੀਂ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਫੜਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਛਾਪੇਖਾਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਟਾਈਪ-ਸੈੱਟਰ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਚੀਜ਼, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਇਕ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਨਾਇਕ ਦੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ਼ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਉਂਦੀ-ਜਾਗਦੀ, ਅਦਭੁੱਤ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ਼ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲ਼ੀ ਕੋਈ ਚੀਜ਼ ਮੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ । ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਖੁਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਲਿਖੀ ਵਸੀਅਤ, ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਾਲ਼ੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਗੁੰਝਲਦਾਰ ਹੈ, ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੱਸਮਈ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਲਾਇਕ ਹੈ — ਮਨੁੱਖ — ਜਿਸਦੀ ਕਿਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਕਲਪਨਾ ਨੇ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਉਸ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਜਾਹੋ-ਜਲਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਨਾਲ਼ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੈ।

MATHEMATICS IN EVERYDAY LIFE

                         

Mathematics is the study of Numbers, quantities, patterns and Shapes. It is the science that deals with Logic because every calculations and operations that we perform in Mathematics has some logic behind it. Even most of the formulas that we use in Mathematics has some logic. So it is study of logic. 

Even Most of the students take Maths as Boring subject but if we study Maths by understanding logic of every steps, then it doesn’t seems to be boring subject. 

     USE OF MATHEMATICS IN EVERYDAY LIFE:-

1.) BANKS:-   Maths is very important in Banking. It is used for keeping the record of money in bank. If person knows maths, then person will be calculate that how much interest he/she get by investing money in bank . With help of Maths, person becomes able that where he/ she invests his money so that he/she get more Profit for future savings. 

2.) GROCERY:-   Grocery stores are the best examples where maths in used  everday.  If person has better understanding in Maths, then person will able to understand that how much money he/she has to pay to grocery store for his/her shopping. Person can itself check the bill before paying it. 

We should involve our children during shopping. When we will do this , the concept of Measurements, Addition , subtraction , Multiplication and division will developed in child in more appropriate way as he/ she will do this by taking more interest in it. 

3.) PETROL PUMPS:-  Maths is also used at petrol pump stations. Screen of Machines used at petrol pumps has digital meter on which Numbers are there. 

We can tell our children for explaining concept of Measurements that If 1 litre petrol cost is Rs. 80 then how  much quantity of petrol we get in Rs. 240? 

4.) TRIGONOMETRY:-  Trigonometry has very importance in Mathematics. Most of the students feel it boring. But it’s applications are Engineering field. It is used for Measuring heights and distances of buildings. So it has great importance in every day life. 

5.) Weather forecast:-  Weather forecast departments use the concept of Probability and tell us in advance before 3-4 days, that hows the weather on next day. It use Probability. It can be correct or sometimes incorrect. 

6.) Agriculture:-    Farmers use math when applying chemicals and fertilizers to the soil. They need to measure how fertile the soil is, how much fertilizer is required for it  and how much it will cost. So Maths is used in agriculture field . 

Hence  Mathematics is used in every field of Life whether it’s some portion is used but it is used in every field, even in most of the subjects like PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY. Even in History there are some important historical dates which are of the form of numbers. So Mathematics is used in SSt field also. 

Hence we can say that It is used in our everyday life.

Water : In Crisis

We need water to live and it is our basic necessity. But in modern India Water Scarcity is our major issue. India is currently facing worst water crisis in its history and even then it has been given very little attention by our government and media.

People in rural areas has to bring in water tanks from outside the village or sometime from other states to access water. Also there are a lots of fights amongst people over water. This problem is not only limited to some people or cities  such stories are rampant all over the country. This problem is due to Climate change and environmental destruction and also because people waste water without knowing its true value.

So question arises how we can participate in improving  this condition of water scarcity. 

• We should  reduce water consumption 

• Do not waste water.

• Reuse water (especially Grey water)

• Grey water- is water flowing from our Sinks, bathrooms, air conditioners

• Rain water harvesting
